In alignment with the global digitalization movement, Jordan has embraced the introduction of the Electronic Patient Information Leaflet (E-PIL), which aims to gradually replace the traditional paper leaflet accompanying pharmaceutical products.
As part of our ongoing efforts to promote awareness and education regarding this transformation—and in close collaboration with the Jordan Food & Drug Administration (JFDA)—we successfully conducted a workshop titled “E-PIL Implementation Updates in Jordan” on November 5th, 2025.
The workshop which was presented by Dr. Mohammad Rabi (founder of the E-PIL Project in the Jordan) provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss the national implementation plan, share insights, and align on the next steps toward effective E-PIL integration.
The event was attended by esteemed professionals from the JFDA, distinguished members of the DOA, and representatives from various multinational and local pharmaceutical companies and distributors. Their active participation and thoughtful discussions significantly enriched the outcomes of this important event.
